PREVIOUSLY TREATED SPOTS
If you have already tried to clean a pet urine spot with soaps, vinegar, enzymes, or oxy cleaners, please note that it will likely require more Live Odor Free!® (LOF) product to finish the job. These other cleaners often leave residues that require additional LOF to penetrate and fully reach the dog or cat urine crystals hidden deep in the fibers.

USING BLACK LIGHTS
It is important to remember that black lights detect minerals found in urine crystals, but they do not detect odor. Even after LOF has successfully eliminated the pet odor, you may still see residual minerals under a black light. This does not mean the smell is still there; it simply means the mineral trace remains in the carpet.
THE ODOR BLOOM PHASE
After your very first application, you might notice an intense scent release known as an Odor Bloom. This happens as the dried urine crystals begin to break down. Do not worry! This is a sign that the product is working. This scent will typically vanish with further applications as the pet urine is fully neutralized.
PAINTED OR SEALED SURFACES
If you are treating concrete that has been painted or sealed, the process will take more time. These coatings act as a barrier, preventing the product from making direct contact with the pet urine trapped underneath. You can choose to perform regular maintenance as the odor slowly leeches out, or for a permanent solution, remove the sealant before treating.
