SPECIFIC “HOW TO USE “ DIRECTIONS

 STEP 1: Spray or pour LOF Pet Urine Odor Eliminator Liquid on the affected area. When urine dries, it forms dry urine crystals deep below the surface, so the LOF liquid needs to soak deep below the surface and contact the urine and the dried urine crystals for maximum effect.

 Wait Time – Liquid: Wait for the liquid to soak deep below the surface. Wait 10-30 minutes for carpet, flooring, or furniture, and 2-4 hours for concrete.

• Odor Bloom: When the LOF liquid makes contact with the dried urine crystals trapped below the surface, you may get an intense smell called “odor bloom.”
• Don’t Panic – It’s working. The odor bloom means the LOF liquid has made contact with the urine crystals and is bringing the odor to the surface to be treated and eliminated.

 STEP 2: Sprinkle Odor Block Granules on the affected areas if it is a soft surface like carpet or furniture. Work the granules into the fabric. 

 Sprinkle Instant Knock Out Powder on the affected areas if it is a hard surface like concrete, tile or wood flooring.

In both cases, cover all of the affected areas with a light to moderate coating.

NOTE: After Step 2, you may see yellow patches emerge where there are heavy, deep urine spots. The yellow spots are where the Powder or the Granules are pulling the pet urine from below the surface and neutralizing the odor. 

• Pay special attention to the yellow patches. This is where you want to concentrate your efforts in Step 3.
•  Let the Powder or Granules sit for 2-4 hours and then vacuum or brush away.

 STEP 3: Repeat Step #1.  But this time concentrate on the yellow areas. This is where any remaining pet urine odor will need to be treated. Now that you know where the urine odor is concentrated, use the Odor Eliminator Liquid liberally until the odor is gone.

STEP 4: Now smell to see if the odor is gone. 

• Smell Tip: Your nose has a memory. After smelling urine, it may continue to smell urine even where there is none. The solution is to refresh the nose by leaving the room for a few minutes before testing the smell.

• Still, Smells? If the odor is not entirely gone to your satisfaction, repeat STEPS #1- #3 until the odor is gone. Focus on the yellow spots. Any remaining odor only means the LOF liquid did not penetrate deep enough to touch the urine and absorb all the urine crystals.
