SPECIFIC “HOW TO USE “ DIRECTIONS

STEP 1 – Spray or pour Live Odor Free LOF Liquid on the affected areas. When urine dries, it forms dry urine crystals, so the LOF liquid needs to soak deep below the surface and contact the urine and the dry urine crystals for maximum effect.

• Wait Time – Liquid: Wait for the liquid to soak deep below the surface. Wait 10-30 minutes for grass or synthetic outdoor turf, and 2-4 hours for concrete.
• Odor Bloom: When the LOF liquid makes contact with the dried urine crystals trapped in the grass or cement, you may get an intense smell called “odor bloom.”
• Don’t Panic – It’s working. The odor bloom means the LOF liquid has made contact with the urine crystals and is bringing the odor to the surface to be treated and eliminated in STEPS #2 and #3. 

STEP 2 – Sprinkle LOF Instant Knockout Powder on the urine areas. Lightly cover all the affected areas. Make sure you leave some powder for a second application or a touch-up. 

• Sprinkle Powder while the surface area is still moist. If it has dried out, spray more liquid before applying powder. 
• Wait Time: Allow enough time for the Powder to absorb the urine and odor that is coming up from deep under the surface. For a relatively new urine spot, allow about 1 hour. It is best to let the Powder set overnight for an old, deep urine spot.
• Yellow Spots: You may see some of the Powder turn yellow, the color of the urine they are soaking up. The location of the yellow patches tells you exactly where you have a concentration of urine crystals and urine odor.  
• Air Dry: Wait until the Powder is dry, then vacuum it (for hard surfaces) or sweep it into the turf or grass. Be sure to mark the areas where the Powder turned yellow.

STEP 3 – Spray a second application of LOF Odor Eliminator Liquid where the Powder turned yellow. Focus on these areas.

STEP 4 – Smell: Now smell to see if the odor is gone. 

• Smell Tip: Your nose has a memory. After smelling urine, it may continue to smell urine even where there is none. The solution is to refresh the nose by leaving the area for a few minutes before testing the smell.

• Still, Smells? If the odor is not entirely gone to your satisfaction, see STEP #5.

STEP 5 – Sprinkle LOF Odor Block Granules lightly over the yellow areas. Work them into the grass with a broom. Then repeat STEP #3.  Keep repeating STEP #3 until odor is gone to your satisfaction.

STEP 6- IMPORTANT: For On going Maintenance of Urine Areas 

• First – Sprinkle LOF Odor Block Granules on the identified urine spots and brush them into the grass so they disappear. 
• Second – Spray LOF Liquid on the granules as they sit deep in the grass. The granules will absorb the LOF Odor Eliminating Liquid and “save” it to kill new urine deposits from your pet. The Granules have a hollow structure that can hold 10 X it’s weight in LOF Liquid. 
• Third – In the future, IF YOU FIND A NEW URINE SPOT, spray another application of LOF Liquid onto the Granules in the grass. By doing this on a regular basis, you are re-charging the Granules. Granules can work for months if periodically re-charged.
• Result: The Granules will sit deep in the grass and, if re-charged regularly, they will absorb most urine smells that normally appear on wet, humid days.
